Product Overview

Screw feeder, also known as screw conveyor, scraper conveyor, and bucket conveyor, is versatile conveying equipment. The basic structure primarily consists of feeding hopper, feeding screw, and transmission mechanism.

Working Principle

The screw feeder detects material weight through the weighing bridge to determine the load on the conveyor. A digital speed sensor continuously measures the feeder's running speed. The speed sensor's pulse output is proportional to the feeder speed, with both speed and weight signals sent to the feeding controller. The microprocessor processes these signals to generate and display cumulative amount and instantaneous flow rates. The actual flow rate is compared with the set flow rate, and the control instrument's output signal adjusts the frequency converter to modify the feeder's driving speed, maintaining precise feed rates for quantitative feeding requirements.
