Product Introduction

The double-shaft screw conveyor is equipped with solid screws in a U-shaped groove, featuring one left-handed and one right-handed screw. When operating, the two screws rotate through a pair of gears at the shaft extension position. The rotation of the spiral body enables axial material movement for efficient conveying.

Working Principle

Material enters through the feed port. When the rotating shaft turns, the material receives normal thrust from the helical blade. While the radial component of this thrust and blade friction could potentially rotate the material around the axis, material gravity and trough friction prevent rotation. Instead, the material moves axially along the trough under the blade's normal thrust component.
